The T8Convertible-Air (T8C-Air) is the next
generation of the TRIKKE™ T8.
The T8C-Air is a TRIKKE but
it is NOT the v.1 or v.2
like you see on
TV and others selling for $129 or less. The T8v.1 or v.2 will
NOT mount the rubber air tires. The T8Convertible
is the first hybrid Trikke product to enable the mounting of both
polyurethane and rubber air tires on the same frame. The frame has been re-designed to make-go easier and is faster.
The T8C-Air offers much more in versatility of the surfaces you can
ride on verses
the polyurethane. It is the ultimate adult ride for all around
utility. It's more portable than the T12 Roadster, but equipped with
the much sought-after air-filled tires for better hill climbing and
smooth travel over varied terrain. The T8C-Air allows the same
traction-filled ride as the T12 so that
you can throw all of your energy into your turns, but at 20 pounds
can easily be tossed into your trunk or carried up stairs, onto the
subway or through a café. The T8C-Air is the best
iteration yet of the Ultimate Fun-Fitness Machine.
Ships in a cool matte black and
with 8.5" Rubber Air Tires. The only assembly required is
mounting the front wheel and the handle bars. The tires are
only half inflated out of the box. You must air the tires to
80psi on the back wheels and approximately 75psi in the front.
Assembly takes less than 30 minutes and tools are supplied.

 NOTE: If you buy a T8C with polyurethane wheels already mounted to
the Trikke and you want to mount the rubber air tire mod kit (sold
separately) then you have to do a complete brake pad swap out. If you buy a T8C-Air with rubber air tires already
mounted and want to change out to polyurethanes then all you have to
do is swap the wheels out and maybe a slight brake adjustment
due to wheel diameter difference. Rubber air tires are 8.5"
where the poly wheels are 8".
Be
careful, other sites are making you believe you're getting the air
tires version at a big discount when in fact you get polyurethane
wheels ONLY. You'll then have to purchase an air mod kit
separately.
The 8.5" rubber air tires only mount
to the TRIKKE™ T8Convertible. They will NOT mount on the original Trikke T8. T8v.1 or T8v.2, aka
"T8 Original".
